The Village Québécois d’Antan

Let yourself be transported back to the 19th century to discover the Village Québécois d'Antan, where folksy characters and ancestral settings bring the past to life. In the evening, discover the Parallel Village! As the time machine malfunctions and conjures up astonishing parallel dimensions, you’ll discover places and times in ways as surprising as they are improbable. Expect the unexpected as you explore multimedia installations developed in collaboration with Moment Factory, then treat yourself to a snack or a meal courtesy of the newly enhanced food offerings.

The Parc à Parc riverside circuit

To fill up on fresh air, head for the Parc à Parc riverside circuit (website in French only), the epicentre of outdoor activities in Drummondville. Running along both sides of the Saint-François River, the circuit links 14 parks, including the majestic Parc régional de la Forêt Drummond and the magnificent Promenade Rivia. This circuit offers everything from forest walks to pike fishing, bike rides to waterside picnics as well as a beach and children’s water games. It’s a little slice of paradise for everyone!

Théâtre de la Dame de Cœur

Renowned for its giant puppet shows, Théâtre de la Dame de Coeur welcomes you 30 minutes from Drummondville for Victor et le cadeau des songes (show presented in French only), a large-scale production that will transport you into a universe of laughter, absurdity and wonder. This rain-sheltered show is a must-see for the whole family, from July 3 to August 24 (Wednesday to Sunday). It’s also a place where you can visit a giant puppet museum, picnic by the river, enjoy a meal at Le Vieux Moulin restaurant or hike a trail on the peninsula.
