Space for Life, made up of the Biodome, the Biosphere, the Insectarium, the Botanical Garden and the Planetarium, gives you a backstage pass to science and nature. Here are some engaging activities and exhibits you won’t want to miss this summer!

Rouge 2100 – A Martian Adventure

The Planetarium's immersive exhibition Rouge 2100, imagined by Cirque Éloize, takes you on a journey to the fascinating red planet, where you'll discover its many facets and imagine this world not so far away as if you actually set foot on it! This expedition to a fictitious base will satisfy your curiosity and answer your questions, while inviting you to reflect on space exploration and the place of human beings in our universe.

Botanical flavours

This summer, a full menu of mouthwatering activities awaits families this summer at the Botanical Garden, from June 22 to September 2. With the Botanical flavours series, you can learn how to reduce food waste, put more plant-based food on your plate, make your own tofu and much more! Creative recipes, surprising foods and culinary presentations will all be featured and will all take place in outdoor areas of the garden that allow you to appreciate both the flavours and the wonderful setting. It's the perfect opportunity for the whole family to learn about food and explore plant biodiversity in a fun context!

Watersheds! Follow the Flow

See where the current takes you and visit this multi-sensory, interactive exhibition. All summer, the Biosphere presents Watersheds! Follow the flow to teach visitors more about the aquatic ecosystems and biodiversity found in lakes, wetlands and rivers. It's an experience for the whole family, with tips for parents and children who want to put what they’ve learned into practice.

The Insectarium experience

Insects, plants and humans interact and live symbiotically at the Insectarium. Travelling an immersive one-way path, visitors are invited to redefine their relationship to insects. In the Alcoves, take in the world the way an insect does. At the Great Vivarium, seize the chance to mingle with many insects, including hundreds of free-flying butterflies. Under the Dome, a veritable pantheon of insects, marvel as the way you look at this fascinating universe transforms all at once.
