Visiting the Observatoire de la Capitale is a must to discover Québec City from every angle. Located on the 31st floor of the city’s tallest skyscraper, the Observatoire offers a stunning 360-degree view of the region. Take in the breathtaking landscape from unique and spectacular vantage points 221 metres high, revealing exceptional views of the city, its maze of streets, the majestic St. Lawrence River, Île d’Orléans and more!

Visitors also have the opportunity to learn more about the capital’s history with the immersive Horizons tour, which explores themes related to our society.

An immersive journey through Québec City’s history

The whole family will love Horizons, an original interpretive tour spanning the four sides of the building, designed to help you discover the capital and its landscape, identity, rich history and culture. The flow is lucid and rhythmic, inspired by the flow of river ice.

The experience includes two immersive video projections, from one cardinal point to another, and invites you to travel through time as you get a bird’s-eye view of the fortified city. You’ll love this journey into the heart of Québec City, as well as the hand-illustrated quiz that lets both kids and parents test their knowledge.

The Observatoire is open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and kids under 6 get free entry. Be sure to buy your tickets online before arriving.
