History and multimedia come together at the Village Québécois d’Antan, in Drummondville, to introduce you to francophone Quebec’s rural way of life through one-of-a-kind experiences.

Try a brand-new immersive evening experience

What happens when the village time machine totally malfunctions? You’ll have to wait until after dark to find out! With its multimedia stage design integrating lights, an original soundtrack and video projections, Village parallèle, an immersive, mirror version of the daytime village, will transport you to a strangely off-kilter universe where history is transformed and undone, teetering between what’s real and what’s not. Strolling through the indoor and outdoor installations, you’ll forget all you know about the village and learn that the past can take on completely new forms. You won’t see the place the same way anymore!

Step into history

Who hasn’t dreamt of being able to time travel? Step into history to experience an out-of-the-ordinary temporal adventure in a historical village alongside folk characters each zanier than the last. With its newcomers, like the inventor of unusual patents and the highly creative hat maker, its new interactive animation and its festive atmosphere with a touch of humour, the village continues to capture hearts young and old. What’s more, visitors can cool off at La Bassine, the waterpark, on hot summer days!
