Dedicated to the well-being of Quebec’s wildlife, the Ecomuseum Zoo is the only outdoor wildlife park on the island of Montreal. Located in Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue, this zoo invites you to explore different species of mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians and fish through immersive and participatory activities. This summer, get ready to celebrate biodiversity with your family, thanks to fascinating presentations and entertaining and educational challenges, as well as extraordinary encounters with endearing animals!


Become a wildlife champion at the ZOOlympics

The Ecomuseum Zoo puts your knowledge to the test with a variety of activities inspired by Quebec’s majestic animals. From June 22 to August 31, discover the exceptional skills of nature's champions. In the company of wildlife experts, you’ll learn which animal excels at the long jump, has the sharpest eyesight and much more. The 2024 ZOOlympics events also let you compare your skills with those of the animal champions. And when you participate in the activities, you’ll be eligible to enter the weekly contest for the chance to win a gift basket from the giftshop on site worth $50.


Enjoy special moments with the animals

Discover exclusive activities that will give you a memorable experience with the animals that live at the Ecomuseum Zoo. See what bears, lynxes, wolves, foxes, otters or pekans eat for breakfast, and get hands-on experience by preparing a delicious meal and feeding it to them in front of their habitats. You can also take part in the zookeeper-for-a-day activity, which invites you to learn about animal care, prepare meals and make enrichment toys. It’s a unique opportunity to get up close and personal with passionate stewards of Quebec’s wildlife and learn more about their work!

Test your knowledge of the animals on a guided tour

The guided tour is the perfect way to explore Quebec’s wildlife in a small group. You’ll learn about the animals’ extraordinary abilities and survival techniques. After this enlightening experience, you can continue your visit of the zoo and observe the animals with a new perspective, putting the knowledge you’ve gained to good use. It’s the perfect opportunity to discover the zoo from a different angle and learn more about biodiversity!
