This event brings people together from far and wide to share a passion for rodeos, agility contests and equestrian prowess, as well as country music and dance. It’s a chance to be a cowboy or cowgirl for a day and enjoy the incomparable festive atmosphere. Put on some jeans and a plaid shirt and bring your country flair, then head for the Eastern Townships to join the party! Country music in the spotlight The Ayer's Cliff Rodeo not only features a series of eye-popping competitions, but also a fantastic program of live music that's sure to be a treat for your ears. If you’re aching for some authentic country vibes, be sure to catch Two of a Kind and Lendemain de veille, on Thursday, the first night of the event; Tyler Joe Miller and The Bounty Hunters on Friday; and Nice Horse and PL Belval - Tailgate Radio on Saturday. Get ready to shout “yee-hah”! Show off your dance moves! Dancers, rejoice! The Ayer’s Cliff Rodeo gives you the chance to tap your feet thanks to special dance events. Put on your cowboy boots and join in for a few songs- it's guaranteed fun! Whether you’re an avid dancer, a natural or a beginner who’s never stepped on a dance floor before, you're sure to find an activity that suits you: from workshops and country dance classes (five local dance schools will be on site!) to competitions for the best dancers, and the special marathon "12h country dance" day on Saturday! Kids are always welcome at the Ayer's Cliff Rodeo! Family Day on Sunday June 16 At the Ayer's Cliff Rodeo, kids are always invited! In addition to offering free admission for children 12 and under, the team has planned a special program for its Family Day on Sunday, June 16, starting at 9 a.m. Kids will love seeing the rodeo finals starting at 1 p.m. as well as the motocross show presented by Milot Land Academy, the treasure hunt and the mini-pedal tractor pulls, both organized by the Service Agricole de l'Estrie team. There will also be all kinds of entertainment, the mini-farm, introductory motorcycle riding sessions by the Milot Land team, the Desjardins hay maze, bouncy games and country dance lessons for kids.
