Avant-garde shows at cutting-edge venues

For its 25th anniversary, MUTEK will welcome over a hundred artists that stand out as original, bold and talented. Every evening, the Societé des arts technologiques (SAT) becomes the stage for eclectic, immersive performances as part of the Nocturne series, while the Théâtre Maisonneuve at Place des arts hosts the A/Vision series, showcasing impressive audiovisual proposals. Festive evenings continue into the wee hours of the morning at MTELUS with the Métropolis series, featuring a mix of dynamic, spellbinding beats. For this special edition, MUTEK will also be pushing the boundaries of innovation with a totally new electronic experience featuring Canadian musicians Colin Stetson, Kara-Lis Coverdale and Patrick Watson at New City Gas.

All are welcome to the free outdoor stage

In addition to the indoor shows, MUTEK offers a part of its program outdoors in an atmosphere of joy and togetherness. Every day from 5 to 11 p.m., the outdoor stage, located on the Esplanade Tranquille, will come alive with the sounds of emerging and renowned artists from all over the globe. True to its values of inclusion, MUTEK creates a space where everyone can participate fully, thanks in part to the site's accessibility, recognized by Kéroul, an organization dedicated to making culture accessible to people with restricted physical abilities. This space embodies the spirit of celebration and openness that has characterized the festival since its inception.

Presented from August 15 to 29, this large-scale initiative will transport visitors into the fascinating world of digital art in all its forms. Each creation offers an experience at the crossroads of technology and creativity, inviting visitors to explore new artistic territories. This anniversary edition is sure to put Quebec's digital creativity front and center!
