A gourmet road trip

In Brome-Missisquoi, there are so many possibilities for gourmet stops that you may not know where to start! Leave the planning to the experts and simply follow Le gourmand, a three-day itinerary along the Wine Route. Depending on your appetite and thirst for discovery, you can do the whole tour, or just pick and choose your favourite spots. Along the road, you’ll get to meet the winemakers who make the region famous as a wine destination, and drive through the area’s most beautiful villages in search of the best local produce all while meeting passionate artisans. Take a few of the region’s flavours home and surprise your friends and family with a tasting down memory lane!

A tribute to slow travel

With its picturesque scenery, the region is an invitation to tranquillity, contemplation and relaxed living. Here, even time seems to take its time! Travelling along country roads through villages that rival each other in beauty and historical riches will make you want to hop on the slow tourism trend, savouring every moment of your experience. The four-day Celebrating Slowness itinerary is the perfect opportunity to explore natural, heritage and cultural attractions, which reveal the spirit of the region and allow you to enjoy the moment to the fullest.

A family-friendly summer

That said, just because the region has plenty to offer food lovers and slow-paced explorers doesn’t mean it isn’t great for young travellers! There’s also plenty to do for those who want to discover the region with the whole family. The four-day A Family Summer itinerary highlights favourites such as the Hisséo Adventure Park, with its aerial course and zipline, the Domaine des Nobles Alpagas, an alpaca farm with guided tours, maternity wards and nurseries and an onsite boutique, and the Centre de la nature de Cowansville, offering many outdoor activities.

So, which direction will you take this summer?
