Plenty of lodging options for more comfort

Those looking for a little more comfort will be able to make the most of their stay in the region by choosing from a variety of accommodations, all offering a breathtaking view of the Gaspé Bay. Chalets overlooking the sea are equipped with a kitchenette and can house a maximum of eight people, while the ready-to-camp units, which can accommodate four to six people, contain everything you need for a stay that’s just like at home. There are two on-site restaurants: a tasty snack bar and the Bastion, for fancier fare. The site also boasts new facilities: a swimming pool, water games and Wi-Fi access to make the experience even more enjoyable. What’s more: your faithful four-legged companions are welcome!

A prime camping spot

Thanks to its exceptional geographical location facing the sea, Aztec Camping Fort-Prével is an oasis of calm and tranquility, within close distance of the region's tourist attractions. Spacious, well-appointed and with breathtaking views, the sites offer the perfect setting for reconnecting with nature, whether in a tent or RV, with or without services. Roughly 100 new sites are now available to welcome all visitors in search of a breath of fresh sea air.

World War II fortifications

As a link in the network of coastal defences in the Gaspé Bay during the Second World War, the Fort-Prével site was built to monitor the area and counter enemy submarine attacks. With its unobstructed view of the Pointe de Forillon, the site was of strategic military importance. Even today, visitors can stroll along the old fortifications, between the cannons, to learn more about this page of the country's recent history. Audioguides will soon be available to enhance the visit with historical details and anecdotes.
