Kids Pumpkin Festival Daytime fun: the wonderful universe of the Pumpkin Festival Who says Halloween always has to be scary? At La Ronde, youngsters are entitled to their own realm where pumpkins are adorable rather than terrifying. The Kids Pumpkin Festival is the perfect celebration for little adventurers and families in search of laughs and fun. Starting at 1 p.m., the party gets started with shows, entertainment and candy! Kids can meet the funny characters of the Candy Kingdom, who will have some sweet surprises in store for them, or the six lovable critters hiding in the Land of Ribambelle. Meanwhile DinoParc offers a dozen attractions specially designed for youngsters, not to mention the animatronic dinosaurs that can be found throughout the life-size setting. These are sure to amaze kids and parents alike! And as for the shows, visitors can take in the joyous performance of the Monstres moches or enjoy the charming Ribambelle and the pumpkins! There’s nothing to be scared of here, just friendly faces! Nighttime scare: the horror of Fright Fest! But watch out, because when twilight sets in, it’s time for Fright Fest to begin! Starting at 5:30 p.m., you’re invited to the Place de l’Animation to attend The Awakening, a 25-minute show featuring 75 monsters performing the most macabre choreography. The gloomy sets, creepy characters and eerie atmosphere leave no room for the faint-hearted. All over the park, over 100 monsters, zombies, ghosts and other creatures also emerge from their lairs and begin prowling nine distinct scare zones, transforming the site into a huge open-air haunted house.
