The charm of Saint-Pacôme comes from its topography. Located a little behind the agricultural plain that borders the St. Lawrence, it is next to the town of Rivière-Ouelle. Salmon swim up the river to the gorge above the village, where fishermen await them. It is an impressive hiking destination.
Côte-Norbert leads to the top of Côte-des-Chats from where you can admire an exceptional panorama: the village below, the agricultural plain, the thirty-kilometre-wide river, Île-aux-Coudres and far in the distance, the north shore and the Baie-Saint-Paul area. The sun plays with the clouds over the river, creating patches of sparkling light in perpetual motion.
