The McCord Stewart Museum presents a new pedestrianized space on Victoria Street. Designed by architecture firm KANVA, this space immerses the public in the imaginary world of the Montreal alley, inviting passers-by to sit, stroll, meet and chat under well-stocked clotheslines. The abundant vegetation is reminiscent of the city's most beautiful green alleyways. The Ruelle du Musée (Museum Alley) will host a varied program throughout the summer, in addition to offering self-service games and entertainment. Open year-round, it will evolve with the seasons.
