Galery Montcalm is a museum institution recognized by the Quebec Ministry of Culture and Communications. The annual program includes five exhibitions of a wide variety of artistic styles. Located in the heart of downtown Gatineau, close to the Canadian Museum of History and downtown Ottawa, the gallery offers a window of choice for regional, national and international professional artists. It also offers collective and interdisciplinary thematic exhibitions aimed at broadening the understanding and appreciation of the visual arts. It develops many activities inspired by the exhibitions it presents, including educational workshops adapted to the school clientele.
