Le Petit Théâtre du Nord creates and produces original plays while developing theatre in the Lower Laurentians (public readings, drama competitions, workshops, authors' courses, etc.). The mandate of this summer theatre company is to commission texts from Quebec playwrights and to promote emerging creators. The Petit Théâtre du Nord is also a winner of several honorary awards for the quality of its productions. In the summer of 2024, the theater presents the play (in French) "Une plante verte, verte, verte", a comedy that takes us on a funny, philosophical sci-fi journey into the unexpected, featuring absurd situations where the plant is king and the human is always a bit of an idiot.
