Gib Fest is a summer festival in the heart of downtown Sorel-Tracy and organized by the Gib Group, a non-profit organization. A place for celebrations and lasting memories, it is in its 46th year of existence and has become the major event in Bas-Richelieu. Festivities animated by performances by renowned and local artists, in musical performances, visual art and dance. Sports activities are presented such as 5km running and basketball and skateboard competitions. All of these activities highlight the local architectural, historical, artistic and culinary heritage.
