The Gatineau Triathlon, in Outaouais, is taking place on the enchanting site of Leamy Lake Park and attracts more than 1,000 participants. Several triathlon distances for youth and adults, duathlon as well as 3 distances for runners are offered. The Gatineau Triathlon offers athletes the opportunity to excel in the practice of triathlon, supports young triathletes in their development and encourage sports tourism in the Outaouais region. The Club Espoir Triathlon de Gatineau, a non profit organization, is the event organizer. Its mission is to promote healthy lifestyle habits through sport and develop triathlon amongst 7 to 17 years-old in the Outaouais region.
